Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un somptueux portfolio grand format (28,5 x 42 cm), r\u00e9unissant trente-neuf photographies de chambres en noir et blanc, prises par autant de photographes d\u2019Europe et d\u2019Am\u00e9rique. Grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de d\u00e9cors (du plus bressonien au plus extravagant) et de points de vue. Les uns privil\u00e9gient le plan d\u2019ensemble et les autres le d\u00e9tail singulier. Certains optent pour le pittoresque ou la saisie d\u2019une ambiance, tandis que d\u2019autres tendent vers l\u2019abstraction (la photo du Su\u00e9dois Knotan ressemble presque \u00e0 un Rothko). Tant\u00f4t l\u2019on traite l\u2019espace en \u00e0-plats et tant\u00f4t l\u2019on travaille les textures (plis et replis des draps chiffonn\u00e9s au petit matin). Dans tous les cas il se confirme qu\u2019il y a quelque chose de magique dans une photo de chambre, comme si l\u2019intimit\u00e9 du lieu se redoublait de l\u2019intimit\u00e9 de notre rapport \u00e0 la photographie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Et donc, aucune id\u00e9e de la personne qui m\u2019a fait parvenir ce superbe cadeau.
